Build for a display
you can read in a glance.

Theora glasses have no keyboard and a three-line monochrome display. That is the whole canvas. They run on FERAL, Theora's open runtime, which lives on your own machine. Everything stays local by default, including the memory the agent keeps.

Nothing is charged today

Everyone who ships in the challenge joins the developer cohort and gets glasses at cost when they ship, plus six months of subscription.

On top of that: the winner takes ElevenLabs API credits, the first ten builders each receive a Theora dev-kit, and the top three receive a dev-kit, glasses, and access to build on the Theora platform. Hardware rewards ship after production, not during the challenge.

Join

One email.

Email us and you are on the developer list. Registration moves to DoraHacks once the Build for Theora listing is public.

Email us to join

The email carries two optional questions: whether you wear prescription lenses, and whether you would wear these daily.

Reserve

A place in the queue.

Reserving is one email too. One reservation per person. This is a queue position, not a delivery commitment: the frame still has EVT, DVT and PVT ahead of it, and those dates are set on supplier nomination.

Build for Theora

Theora is a general wellness product. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
